To introduce their new topic, 'Could we be heroes?', Year 6 dressed up as either heroes from history, their own hero from the world they live in, or a hero of their own invention. They were then asked to explain why they had chosen their particular hero and what it was that they felt made them heroic. Once they had explained their own costumes, the pupils went hero hunting and interviewed staff around the school who had also dressed up for the day. It was fantastic to see some really heroic characters in school and learn about why our community considers them to be heroes.
