Having discovered what skilled road-builders the ancient Romans were, the pupils built their own edible roads from chocolate, biscuits and custard! The children followed instructions carefully to make each layer of ‘concrete’. Later this term, the children will be writing their own instructions for how to become a Gladiator champion.
