Year 7-9 watched and participated in performances of Shakespeare's Kings and clowns, taking to the stage as Romeo and Juliet, the English Army, and the Ghost in Hamlet.
Year 10 and 11 English Literature pupils took part in theatrical workshops based on their IGCSE exam text 'Of Mice and Men'. Pupils studied the central characters, themes, language and key quotations from the novel as well as revising the social, historical context to help them revise in an engaging and enriching way.
