Yesterday, Year 4 pupils were led on a perilous adventure back in time to one of the greatest and most powerful civilisations in the history of the world! A triad of troublesome tasks awaited them as they set off on their carousel of ‘Tomb Raider’ adventures. In Giraffe’s room, pupil’s studied Egyptian hieroglyphics to try to crack the secret mummy’s code. Whilst in Rhino’s room, pupils became tomb detectives as they searched for evidence in a series of pictures. What were those Egyptians up to? In Gorilla’s room, pupils navigated through a treacherous tunnel as they searched for artefacts in the darkness. Fortunately, everyone made it back in one piece and all pupils had a fun-filled and engaging time. What a way to start our learning on the Ancient Egyptians!
